I'm not sure how often I’ll post art from now on, if at all, even, for a while. I'm insecure on how I view the quality of my art, and I don't very much like how it looks. It looks terrible, and very much lacks what it takes to even be considered art. I'm disappointed in it. Very much so. I'm not pleased with how it turns out, and I really don't want to post much else until I feel my art is actually worth looking at.

I'm sorry for those of you who don't feel the same or those who would be displeased with the already bad decrease in activity turning almost hiatus-level. I just… feel my art needs more before it's even considered art, much less viewed.

Again, I'm deeply sorry.

I bet at least one person wonders a completely random quiestion like this. But for those who are curious: I usually label certain OCs under "fanart" category. Well this is due to some logic. I am a fan of a certain thing. OCs which are made in the universe of something pre-existing can also be called a "fan character" as opposed to an "OC". With that beinf said, in essence, some of my OCs are fan characters. And since they already live in that pre-existing world, a lot of the stuff they do and all tjat counts as 'fanart'.

Damn, what a year this was. All the deaths, all the uncertainty, all the talk of politics, and don't even get me STARTED on the elections, ugh (neither one of those two should've won).

Anyways, moving on, sure... 2016 wasn't the best year, far from it (I'm pretty sure being dubbed the "Year Everyone Got Offended" is far from best). However, there were some pretty sweet things to come out of it. I mean, think about it! There were some pretty good songs that came out of it, even better video games, and some pretty awesome gadgets and devices, too.

Now, if you know me, you know that I am not an overly positive person, and honestly, I DESPISED this year with a
B U R N I N G
P A S S I O N
...but, I won't deny that there were times in the year that I enjoyed it.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to 2017. Not sure why... I'm not liking the outlook I'm getting from it, but that's just me being a pessimist, disregard my negative vibes.

I don't have anything along the lines of any New Year's Resolutions, as most of them would probably be goals I'm already striving to reach. However, I am looking forward to some things in the year that I hope will make me think better of this upcoming year.

5. My characters: Collin (Zoophobia OC) and Grimus (Zoophobia OC) (I'll do both, sure!)

For Collin:
1.) The compass necklace that Collin wears (in most pictures of him I draw him with that particular thing on) was given to him by his grandfather.
2.) Collin came to be from a random, non legit idea I had in my mind that sorta just stuck, and I just ran with it.
3.) Collin's hairstyle is supposed to be reminiscent of the hairstyles commonly seen on male anime characters: spiky and slightly wild.
4.) Collin's birthday is September 12th.
5.) Collin is a constant OC in more than just ZP. I have him as a character in two other universes, as well.
6.) Funnily enough, to this day I still haven't given Collin a solid last name (Procrastination at its finest).
7.) The reason Collin likes to take pictures is because that reflects my enjoyment of photography.
8.) Collin also enjoys writing, as that also reflects how I like to write.

And now for Grimus:
1.) Grimus takes parts of styles of fighting from other characters of mine.
2.) Talk about being a Gary Stu: Grimus originally started off as a character who was supposed to be a son of Styx.
3.) A lot of my characters always have at least one cliche to them. Grimus' being that he's not the nicest, and that's because his father died.
4.) The idea of making Grimus use a sword was from the fact that most of my characters run into serious situations. He's one of them.
5.) Grimus before he became Grimus (after I scrapped the idea of him being the son of Styx) was supposed to be just an fandomless OC.
6.) Grimus is one of the few demon characters I have.
7.) The name "Grimus" wasn't anything special--just something that popped into my head!
8.) Grimus' father's name is Aremgeist, which is actually the name of a world I have developed.
